NEW SHOWROOM AS LOCAL HOME-HEATING COMPANY EXPANDS

At a time when many companies are cutting back on overheads, Agadon Heat & Design has just invested in a brand new 8,000 square foot warehouse and showroom in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. Now its customers can browse around and see first hand, just how novel and exciting is the company’s large range of designer radiators and towel rails.

Agadon Heat & Design has a very short history. Managing Director Simon Hall started the company with his wife Carol from his home in Whitwick near Coalville just two years ago. Earlier this month he bought the new warehouse and showroom, as part of his ongoing policy of investing in the company.

That’s not all, as the company goes from success to success, Mr Hall has employed three new personnel - two in the sales office and showroom and one to run the warehouse. He told us “Sales are up by 60% in recent months. The secret to our success is threefold. We have found a product – the designer radiator – which is at the beginning of its life cycle. It is European made with a five year guarantee and every design we sell offers our customers extremely good value for money, with prices starting from £129.99. In fact our customers tell us that the thing they like most about our designer radiators is that they don’t have a designer price tag.”

A spokesman added “We have a policy of keeping all the main products in stock and even specials can be supplied within four weeks – that includes special colours or sizes.”

In actual fact Mr Hall is modest about the reasons for his success. He has invested most of his company’s profits back into the business. It spends significant amounts on marketing and has exhibited its radiators at a number of UK exhibitions in the last year – Homebuilding & Renovating Show, Ideal Home Exhibition and Grand Designs Live - to mention just three. Mr Hall and his staff have worked tirelessly over the last 12 months to ensure the success of the business.

With an eye for interesting designs, Agadon promoted a revolutionary new car port at the above exhibitions and interest was said to be enormous. It is a cantilever style ‘designer carport’ and is an absolute stunner. It is believed to be the first two-legged freestanding carport to be seen in the UK.

The lines are distinctly Japanese and it is sure to turn the heads of your neighbours. It retails from around £2,250. It is very practical too. It is manufactured from corrosion-free low-maintenance anodised aluminium, it has an attractive curved lightweight polycarbonate roof, is easy to assemble and measures 5 x 2.7 x 2.95 metres.
