When it comes to heating your bathroom, a common question we hear is ‘are towel radiators any good’?
Heating your bathroom presents a different challenge to keeping the other rooms in your home warm. It has different – and quite specific – heating requirements. Space can often be at a premium, and the room can be damp or humid. Quite often, you may use the bathroom to get dressed or undressed in, meaning it needs to be warm and welcoming at those crucial times of day, first thing in the morning and just before bedtime.
What you do with your wet towels after bathing or showering is a whole other issue. Drying them out quickly so they don’t harbour germs or bacteria is a must, which makes choosing the right form of heating essential.
Towel radiators for bathrooms of all sizes
Heated towel rails provide a practical option which works well in bathrooms of all sizes, especially smaller rooms and en-suites. They utilise space better as they are designed to fit vertically, rather than standing proud like most horizontal radiators, to help keep all your towels warm, fluffy and dry.
They make a great option in modern, minimalist or contemporary bathrooms as they’re more streamlined and timeless in appearance than standard radiators. And while their primary job is to keep your towels warm and dry, most heated towel rails will also provide enough heat to warm your bathroom in the process, keeping things nice and toasty for when you step out of the bath or shower.
So, are towel radiators any good? You bet they are, but if you’re unsure, why not give us a call or pay our showroom a visit and talk to our expert team about the benefits of installing one in your bathroom?
