Radiators for awkward spaces

Designer radiators come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, which can make locating those all-important heating systems far easier - as well as being easier on the eye!
Designer radiators can help you find a heating solution in awkward spaces
When installing a heating system into an existing building, or even designing a new-build, the essential elements might be difficult to integrate. Any of our designer collections can be made extra wide to suit your exact dimensions and heating needs. The location of a central heating boiler may be governed by a number of factors – technical, logistical or safety requirements – but there is usually more freedom of choice when it comes to the positioning of radiators, thermostats and other controls.
Some designer radiators even give a number of options as to how they can be mounted, so you’re not restricted by their physical size and dimensions. The unique, sometimes quirky, designs of some radiators may even give you some fresh ideas about where to site your heating system components. Many of the designs are aesthetically-pleasing, so you don’t need to hide them away.
Tall slim radiators for rooms short on wall space
Often a corner or load bearing wall between a new extension and the older part of the house is the only practical place to locate a radiator. Luckily Agadon Designer Radiators have relatively high output vertical radiators which deliver on both efficiency and style. People often mistakenly think vertical radiators cannot output as much heat as a horizontal radiator. This is simply not true and what's more, vertical radiators often emit heat more efficiently as they are not usually blocked by furniture.
Extra wide radiators for rooms with unusual wall space
Standard widths for radiators depend upon whether you are looking for a tall (vertical) or wide (horizontal) radiator. However, with Agadon, which ever style you choose - tall or wide - you can have a factory built radiator specific to the width you need. Obviously the extra width depends upon the radiator style, i.e. if a column radiator, additional columns need to be added. However, with a flat panel radiator, the width can be more flexible.
Feature mirror radiators
A mirror radiator is practical, functional and creates a stunning entrance hall feature. Mostly used in bathrooms because the radiator heat keeps the mirror from steaming up, designer radiators with a mirror feature are often overlooked. However, the practicality of a mirror in almost any room is a useful feature. Mirrors reflect light so are an excellent choice in darker spaces, and with a huge choice of colours, designer styles and finishes, a mirror radiator could be the practical focal point you are looking for.
Feature picture radiators
Why not take the opportunity to create a stunning personal focal point with digitised art, reproduce a family portrait or favourite photo. Choose from our gallery of images, feature your own art or a portrait photograph without compromising on heat output. The beauty of infrared art radiators is that they can be located anywhere you can get a normal electric socket, are super efficient and provide almost instant heat.
Designer radiators direct
There's a wide variety of unusual designer radiator styles and colours. They can either blend into the background or become a focal point of your room. Create a feature wall by going for a sculptural design, or pick a colour that matches your paintwork. There are a wide range of colour choices, patterns and interesting patinas out there. So for a room where you want to impress – a dining room or open-plan living and kitchen area – find the perfect style to make a big impact.
